RootsTech 2023: Free Pass Giveaway!

Hello all, and welcome to 2023. I think I can still squeak by with a Happy New Year. I’m not big on Resolutions (as I’m sure I’ve explained before), but I aim to get back into a rhythm with blogging here.

Of course, this is helped by the fact that I will be traveling to Utah in February to attend RootsTech in person. Lots to blog about, I’m sure. And it can’t all be about drinking in new bars and throwing axes.

If you are planning to be there too then you may be interested to hear that you can enter my giveaway to get a FREE 3-day pass to the fun. (Axe-throwing not included.)

The people behind RootsTech (i.e. FamilySearch) are allowing each of us Ambassador/Influencer types to give away a FREE 3-day pass to the show in Salt Lake City. For complete clarity, the ticket allows you full access to the show in Salt Lake City, with access to the Expo Hall, all of the keynote and general sessions, and all of the on-site classes.

The package is worth $98 and does not include travel or accommodation, meals/refreshments, or any other expenses. If you have already purchased your ticket, you can still enter as RootsTech will refund your ticket if you win.

All you have to do is leave a comment on either this blog post (or on my Facebook post) and I will automatically enter you into the draw. The closing date for this is 27 January (midnight GMT), and I’ll announce the winner on or before 29 January.

  5. I am excited that I’m going to RootsTech and get reiinvigorated to do my family research. A lot has been going on and it has sidetracked me from researching. I appreciate this opportunity.
